Gun Control Fanatic Senator Leland Yee Finally Arrested On Corruption Charges

I’ve been saying that Leland Yee was a criminal for years…federal authorities finally paid attention.

Yee was arrested by the FBI Wednesday morning for public corruption.  While this isn’t terribly surprising given Lee’s track record of ignoring what was morally and ethically right, what IS slightly surprising is that among the charges being leveled against Yee is GUN TRAFFICKING.  How poetically ironic.

Yee doesn’t seem as happy in the back of a FBI Agent’s car as he was when he was persecuting law abiding gun owners in California.

This isn’t even your typical white collar politician crime which consists of kickbacks and quid quo pro arrangements.  Yee is being charged with conspiring to traffic in firearms and who is conspiring with?  Yee is now being linked to Chinese Mafioso Raymond “Shrimp Boy” Chow, former soldier in San Francisco’s Hop Sing Tong gang.

First convicted in 1978 for robbery in Chinatown, San Francisco. Chow received 11 years of which he did 7 years and 4 months. He was released in 1985. In 1986 Chow was charged with 28 counts of assault with a deadly weapon, attempted murder, mayhem, and being an ex-con with firearms. He served 3 years in prison and was released in 1989. In 1992 Chow was arrested for racketeering, later separated into two separate trials. The first was for illegal gun sales and the second was for male prostitution, drugs and money laundering. Convicted in 1995, Chow was sentenced to 24 years but turned snitch and cut a deal.

Classy crowd Gun control champion Yee likes to run with.

With any luck this will put the final nail in Yee’s political career if not his freedom.

On top of the crimes is the hypocrisy.  I, and other gun rights advocates, have always said that if you outlaw guns only criminals will have them.  Not only did Yee spend his political life trying to disarm the law abiding public, he spent the rest of his time trying to arm  the criminals.

Leland Yee is a monster.  He is a arms trafficker who with one hand gave the weapons to those with malicious intent while with the other hand ensured that Californians would be powerless to prevent their own victimization.

Whatever happens to Leland Yee will not be punishment enough.  He violated his office, the public trust and human decency and should be held to pay.

Californians had to pay for the past 12 years while this two faced sociopath raided their liberties.  They deserve a reckoning and justice.
