Carjacker picks wrong target, held at gunpoint by driver until police arrive (video)

Another happy ending to a potential tragedy.  This one comes with video.  In short, carjacker hops into the passenger side door of a car and tells the driver that a carjacking is going down.  That’s when things go sideways for Mr. Carjacker.

Hashim Fannin, the car owner, says the attempted carjacking occurred just after he had pulled into a parking spot at the Family Dollar on Marietta Boulevard in northwest Atlanta earlier this month.

In Fannin’s own words:

“He told me, ‘You know what this is,’” That is when Fannin says he pulled his gun out.

“I asked him to get out the car, probably not in those exact words. I told him no, there’s no leaving, leaving was before you hopped into my car … at this point there is not leaving.”

Personally…I LOVE that.

It reminds me of the movie “A Bronx Tale” when a bunch of bikers roll into a bar and start messing up the place. The owner asks them to leave and they tell him to pound sand.  Then this happens:

Suffice it to say the bikers regretted their actions.

And so to did 61 year old would be carjacker Edgar Horn.  He lied face down on the ground until police eventually showed up and placed him under arrest.

Horn was charged with attempted robbery and unlawful entry of an automobile.

Here’s some video of all that going down:

“So you woke up stupid this morning?”

Great stuff..

One again, law abiding citizen saves himself and gets another scumbag off the street.  The thunderous silence from the National Media and gun controllers is deafening.

Good job Mr. Fannin.
