What if your freedom of speech was limited to one topic?

That is the equivalent of what Federal District Court Judge William M. Skretny ruled in regards to New York States ridiculously named SAFE Act. In his opinion Judge Skretny ruled that the provision of a 7 bullet maximum for magazines was unconstitutional.  Outside of any 1911 owners that pretty much would have outlawed all semi automatic pistols. Now, sure this is a victory of the 2nd Amendment…a victory borne through resounding defeats. Skretny also ruled that everything else in the SAFE Act is constitutional. These provisions include: -The “Assault Weapons Ban”.  Not only limited to rifles but any firearm that has ONE miiltary feature, be it a telescoping or folding stock or a pistol grip on a long gun.  How exactly these features make a weapon any more dangerous is beyond me but the bed wetting gun controllers who know nothing about firearms apparently equate black guns to violence and...

Hey Virginians, you reap what you vote

In the recent gubernatorial election in Virginia, Virginians went to the polls and elected vocal and non apologetic gun hater, Terry McAuliffe.  McAuliffe actually campaigned vocally for gun control in the old dominion and won. Now Virginians will have to live with that for the next four years. As if I couldn’t have predicted what that entails, here is the first taste; McAuliffe names Lori Haas to his transition team. Who is Lori Haas?  She is the Organizer for the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence.  One of the most rabid gun control organizations in America.  A gun control organization so out of the mainstream that President Obama doesn’t even include them in the weekly White House meetings he has. Voters in Virginia are set to hit the polls tomorrow to vote on who will lead them for the next four years. For the Democrats you have Terry McAuliffe and for the Republicans Ken Cuccinelli. With voters hitting the ballot box within 24 hours one wonders, ‘How does this effect gun owners in both Virginia and the rest of the country?’ The answer has many facets.  First you have the fact that Terry McAuliffe is a rabid gun control supporter.  That is no surprise as many Democrats who run for office are.  What is a surprising is that McAuliffe is vocally running his campaign as a rabid gun control proponent…in VIRGINIA. The Journal News Not Only Hates Gun Owners But Is Apparently Racist Too

The Journal News, as you may recall, is the New York based newspaper that made national headlines by producing an interactive map detailing exactly where gun owners lived in Westchester and Rockland Counties. While the newspaper’s hostility toward gun owners and disregard for people’s privacy is well documented the Journal News abject racism towards blacks has been only recently exposed. In the Westchester County Executive race this fall, the Journal News has actively joined the election to suppress voices from blacks.  The incumbent, Republican Rob Astorino, who did not care for the Journal News’ invasion of his constituents privacy is up for re-election against Mayor of New Rochelle, Noam “Back of the Bus” Bramson.
