In case you were unaware, gun are loud. Suppressors lower the level of decibels that guns make and as a result protect the hearing of the shooter and those around him or her. Bullets First Endorses Ted Cruz For President

While other Amendments to the Constitution are important, it is only the 2nd Amendment, the right to keep and bear arms that ensures all the other ones. Looking over the candidates I find that there is only one that fully embraces that understanding and has not wavered, demurred, compromised or sidestepped that belief.

Constitutional Carry: New Hampshire Falters While Maine Rises

In an update from earlier articles I have written about the 2 New England states bucking the gun control trends from nearby states of Massachusetts, Connecticut and New York, Maine and New Hampshire have both passed legislation allowing their citizens to fully exercise their right to keep and bear arms without the bureaucracy, cost, or invasion of privacy and human dignity that goes along with begging the government to do so. Unfortunately, New Hampshire’s leading mouth breather, Gov. Maggie Hassan has gone against the will of the legislature and the will of the people by vetoing the Constitutional Carry measure. Hassan gave the standard two faced talk from both sides of her mouth by stating that she supports the 2nd Amendment but by eliminating the need for people to beg the government to exercise their rights it would “compromise the public safety of our citizens.” No…the only thing it...

Gun Owners To Cuomo: Take Your Unconstitutional SAFE Act and Shove It

I have been long fighting the good fight about the tyrant of the Empire State, Andrew Cuomo and his constitution shredding SAFE Act.  It is good to see that I am not alone. Our friend, Rusty Weiss at Mental Recession passed along this article detailing how the gun owners of New York feel about their would be potentate. Between abject apathy and fiery condemnation to Cuomo and his unconstitutional edicts, the people by and large have basically just IGNORED both the governor and the law. To quote  Tom King, president of the Albany-based New York State Rifle and Pistol Association: “It would appear the people have just bypassed the legislature and simply repealed it on their own.” Here’s the article in its entirety: After a much-publicized court battle between State Police and gun groups, numbers for the registration of so-called “assault-style” weapons under Governor Cuomo’s unconstitutional SAFE Act have been...

Texas Open Carry Stumbles At The Finish Line; Allows Police To Abuse Authority

Texas open carry has become a reality as has campus carry.  Those are great things.  I always found it laughable that, before the police in Pennsylvania were properly trained, some cops would harass me and other open carriers and say things like: “This is Pennsylvania, not TEXAS.” Well, Texas has finally joined the other 45 states that allow Open Carry. It by no means smooth sailing as Bloomberg and his cabal of astroturf supporters tried their usual shtick of fearmongering and deceitful propaganda, but to no avail this time. HB910 went to Gov. Abbott’s desk for his signature and he signed it into law on June 13th, 2015. Open carry becomes legal for all permit holders in the Lone Star state come January 1st, 2016. Why the wait?  I don’t know.  And yes, a permit-less open carry law would have been preferable. But where the law really stumbled was with...
