‘DIRTY JOBS” Host Mike Rowe Denounces Expanding Background Checks

Rowe had enough of his fellow celebrities spreading misinformation about guns that he went to Facebook, as he always does, to bring some common sense dialogue to the issue.

Video: “Gun Show Loophole” Exposed

Gun show loophole is the buzzword that gun control zealots like to toss around to scare the uninitiated into thinking that gun shows are like dark alley gun buys out of a back of a van with tinted out mirrors.

Remember When We Had A President Who Brought This Country Together Amidst Tragedy

One can say that a President’s worth is measured in how they handle tragedy and adversity. One need not look back to Abraham Lincoln or FDR to search for examples. On this day, 30 years ago, one of the worst tragedies occurred in American Aerospace exploration.

Electrified Booby Trapped Bike Shocks a Number of Would Be Thieves [Video]

In the following video entitled Bait Bike in the Hood Prank, the brothers rig up a bike with electrodes in the seat and in the handle bars to give the thieves (who think they are so smooth) a rude awakening and a lesson that stealing is wrong.

FINALLY: Jackbooted SWAT Thugs Lose Immunity After Throwing Flash-bang Grenades at Innocent Grandmother and Granddaughter

A grandmother and granddaughter were enjoying a nice afternoon at home. That is before squad of shocktroopers from the local SWAT team shattered the front door and tossed in a couple of flash-bang grenades.

Carjacker picks wrong target, held at gunpoint by driver until police arrive (video)

Another happy ending to a potential tragedy.  This one comes with video.  In short, carjacker hops into the passenger side door of a car and tells the driver that a carjacking is going down.  That’s when things go sideways for Mr. Carjacker. Hashim Fannin, the car owner, says the attempted carjacking occurred just after he had pulled into a parking spot at the Family Dollar on Marietta Boulevard in northwest Atlanta earlier this month. In Fannin’s own words: “He told me, ‘You know what this is,’” That is when Fannin says he pulled his gun out. “I asked him to get out the car, probably not in those exact words. I told him no, there’s no leaving, leaving was before you hopped into my car … at this point there is not leaving.” Personally…I LOVE that. It reminds me of the movie “A Bronx Tale” when a bunch of bikers roll into a...

Appearance on NRA News Criticizing Everytown’s Misogynistic Campaign Against Young Women

I appeared on NRA News on Tuesday, March 24th, 2015, to discuss the problem with Everytown for Gun Safety’s latest misinformation campaign targeting young women who support gun rights and concealed carry. Here’s more on the appearance from the NRA News: Gabriella Hoffman has written about Bloomberg’s Everytown for Gun Safety, and its assertion that young women can’t handle firearms. A series of tweets from the gun control group characterizes young women as drunk, irresponsible, and a danger to themselves. Hoffman describes the responsible behavior of young gun owners, and the effect of reduced crime from concealed carry on campus. Originally aired on NRA News Cam & Co 03/24/15. (Below is Gabriella’s original article -Tony) Everytown for Gun Safety,  a Michael Bloomberg-funded arm of the gun control lobby, issued a series of tweets last week suggesting college-aged women are too dumb to handle firearms. Below are the two questionable tweets: “You...

Build a Rocket Stove On The Cheap

With all the politics, legislation and real tales of self defense that gets covered here on Bullets First sometimes I like to mix it up a bit when I find something interesting that is 2nd Amendment adjacent. In this instance I am referring to the every-man’s rocket stove. For those of you who may be unfamiliar with the term, the rocket stove is an efficient cooking stove using small diameter wood fuel which is burned in a simple high-temperature combustion chamber containing a vertical chimney and a secondary air supply, which ensures almost complete combustion prior to the flames reaching the cooking surface. Here’s a design that gives you the gist of it: That above design calls for a 55 gallon drum, and trust me there are others out there that seem more apropos to shuttle launches than grilling up some food; with a price tag to match. Leave it...

A Retort For Those “MUSKETS ONLY” Gun Controllers (Video)

You’ve no doubt heard those blustering gun controllers spewing forth their ignorance when they choose to speak on the notion that the 2nd Amendment was intended only to cover single shot black powder muskets. No doubt these same simple minded “historians” were doing so from a television show, internet website or on the radio…yet they still expect the 1st Amendment to protect them even though they aren’t physically pressing paper or giving a speech in the town square. This on top of the fact that gun controllers fall silent with regards to the single shot black powder firearms when a NJ retireee is charged with a felony for possession of a firearm that is an unloaded 1760 historical relic. Steven Crowder made a quick video that had some information that even surprised me about what kind of weapons were available BEFORE the revolutionary war that completely undercuts the gun control...

Gun Controllers Use Technology To Undermine the 2nd Amendment

In a case of irony (mired in gun controller hypocrisy) gun control zealots in California have abandoned their long help argument that guns have become more advanced than the Founding Fathers could have foreseen and therefore they must be outlawed. The new argument, at least in California, is that firearms are NOT advanced enough and as such should be outlawed. I’m speaking of course of the psuedo-science behind the notion of “microstamping.”  Mircrostamping is the idea that the firing pin of a gun can implant identification markers on the shell casings thus identifying the person who shot that round. Before I get into the technical aspect of why this idea fails allow me to address the practical reasons such an idea fails. If you have time to police your brass (ie premeditated shooting) then the technology does nothing. If you use a revolver which keeps the brass in your...

An Adorable Story on Valentines Day with a Lion a Tiger and a Bear…oh my!

I’m not a fan of Valentines Day.  It is truly the quintessential Hallmark Holiday and the notion that a guy should treat his girlfriend/wife better on this day than the other 364 days of the year is insulting. If you aren’t treating your significant other like she’s the most special creature on the planet but for once a year, you are failing. Valentines day is the one day I take off from romance because its not special if you are obligated to do it.  It would be like saying you are volunteering for something that is all ready mandatory. With that being said, I felt like I would nonetheless share a story of loving friendship between three unique individuals.  A friendship that was forged in hardship yet has withstood the test of time and animal instinct. I’m referring to these adorable characters:   Leo the Lion, Baloo the Bear and Shere...

Phoenix Patriot Foundation – Everything the Wounded Warrior Project Isn’t

As you may have recall I wrote an article at the end of last year exposing the Wounded Warrior Project for the minuscule amount of donations that actually go to programs meant to help veterans.  I also highlighted a number of veterans who felt like props and fundraising tools rather than actually getting help. Plus there’s the fact that the Wounded Warrior Project is against the 2nd Amendment. You can read all about it here: Stop Donating to the Wounded Warrior Project – They’re a Fraud Among the hundreds of comments from other veterans who agreed with the article and shared their own stories of being pawns in the WWP’s end game of making money, a number of people asked “what is an alternative organization I can give to in order to help vets?” A reader emailed me directly and told me to look into the Phoenix Patriot Foundation.  ...

The A-10 Warthog Faces Scrapyard Despite Successes in War Against Terror

For those of you who don’t know what the A-10 is, it is the only United States Air Force production aircraft designed solely for close air support, including attacking tanks, armored vehicles, and other ground targets.  In short the A-10 Thunderbolt is a an up close and personal angel from above that has bailed a lot of troops out of hairy situations over the years. The A-10’s reputation for toughness and getting down and dirty with the enemy has acquired it the moniker the “A-10 Warthog” which it is almost universally referred to as. While F-16’s, F-15’s and the new F-22 Raptor are the Porsche’s, Ferrari’s and Lamborghini’s of the sky, the A-10 is a bad ass, hardcore, suped up dump truck made for the zombie apocalypse. Let me explain the previous sentence.  The planes I mentioned were built as the premiere flying machines that could be used for war.  The...

Response To Michael Moore’s Mouth Drooling Idiocy (Video)

Michael Moore really doesn’t matter.  He’s a slovenly obese, anti gun, America hating, soldier bashing piece of filth whose been irrelevant for years. The fact that I have to spend any time discussing him turns my stomach. But I’m not about to give him a pass on bad mouthing snipers the entire US Military with his asinine comments that he is trying like hell to back away from. In case you missed it, Moore, after seeing that American Sniper was going to pretty much put to shame any movie that Moore ever “created” in terms of people actually going to see it and that it was based on a true story rather than the set ups that Moore’s “documentaries” take decided to lash out. Take a careful look at what he said.  Seems most people are focusing on him calling the brave soldier and marines, who go alone (or...

If James Madison Wrote The Bill Of Rights Like Liberals Would (video)

James Madison, one of the founding fathers of this great nation of ours is also known colloquially as the “Father of the Bill of Rights.”  You know the Bill of Rights i’m talking about…the one with that pesky little 2nd Amendment that drives gun controllers crazy. The 2nd Amendment that Madison stated in the Federalist papers #46 ensures that “the ultimate authority resides in the people alone.”  Also from #46, his belief that “Americans have the right and advantage to being armed,” the advantage being over the Europeans who exist in a state of servitude. The same Madison who, on June 8th, 1789 stood before Congress and declared “The right of the people to keep and bear…arms shall not be infringed. A well regulated militia, composed of the body of the people, trained to arms, is the best and most natural defense of a free country.” Before the gun controllers...

Follow the Rules or You’ll Get Your Finger Shot Off…or Worse (Video)

How difficult is it…REALLY…to follow Colonel Jeff Coopers 4 simple rules to firearm safety? They’ve been around for DECADES so they should be ingrained in every gun owner and should be instilled in new gun owners before they ever pick up their first firearm. The rules that go like this: All guns are always loaded. Even if they are not, treat them as if they are. Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy. (For those who insist that this particular gun is unloaded, see Rule 1.) Keep your finger off the trigger till your sights are on the target. This is the Golden Rule. Its violation is directly responsible for about 60 percent of inadvertent discharges. Identify your target, and what is behind it. Never shoot at anything that you have not positively identified. Nearly every negligent discharge that I have ever heard of is...

Animal Kingdom Strikes Down Drones for Privacy (Video)

As police and government authorities are ramping up  their privacy invading abilities by using drones to conduct warrantless searches in clear violation of the 4th Amendment, or to just flat out SPY on people for no better reason to do so than they can, the spectre of Orwell’s “1984” looms ever larger. Of course, society is partly to blame, not only in the allowing of the death of privacy but also in its facilitation.  How many millions of people willingly divulge the intimacies of their lives on facebook, twitter, intstagram and the like? The idea of personal privacy as an inherent right and something to be valued is being eroded and is being equated to having “something to hide” or “untrustworthy” or that somehow not wanting your life readily available for public consumption makes you some kind of anachronism. Well, there’s at least one critter out there who isn’t...

Musical Guns – A Gunpowder Homage To Pitch Perfect (video)

In case you never saw the movie Pitch Perfect, Anna Kendrick uses an empty cup to keep the beat while she sings  “When I’m Gone.” She did it a capella and it was pretty good. In truth, until now, I never thought it was missing anything. Then I saw this and realized what was missing…FIREPOWER. This is Nashville singer Jim Huish’s rendition of the song with a 2nd Amendment twist. Enjoy! True, the vocals are drowned out a bit at the end by the near automatic fire, but still…if that didn’t bring a smile to your face then this winter has frozen your heart my friend.  This is pretty clever interpretation of what Ms. Kendrick did in the movie and the coordination of which wasn’t easy by any means. For those of you who hadn’t seen the Pitch Perfect, here is the clip in which I have been referencing http://youtu.be/v2mawaBrvFg Despite what the gun...
