A Retort For Those “MUSKETS ONLY” Gun Controllers (Video)

You’ve no doubt heard those blustering gun controllers spewing forth their ignorance when they choose to speak on the notion that the 2nd Amendment was intended only to cover single shot black powder muskets.

No doubt these same simple minded “historians” were doing so from a television show, internet website or on the radio…yet they still expect the 1st Amendment to protect them even though they aren’t physically pressing paper or giving a speech in the town square.

This on top of the fact that gun controllers fall silent with regards to the single shot black powder firearms when a NJ retireee is charged with a felony for possession of a firearm that is an unloaded 1760 historical relic.

Steven Crowder made a quick video that had some information that even surprised me about what kind of weapons were available BEFORE the revolutionary war that completely undercuts the gun control zealots notion that the founding fathers were too stupid to imagine a world were technological advances actually take place.

So yeah, assault rifles of the 1700’s and before could fire 20 rounds or more, could produce automatic gatling gun like fire and so on.  To believe that the founding fathers thought that the be all end all to firearms was the single shot musket is to believe that gun free zones actually deter criminals.

And if someone wants to spout off and argue against the “radical” view that the 2nd Amendment is a failsafe against a tyrannical government you can quote them another “radical”…one George Washington

Just some helpful points to bring up next time you run across a foaming at the mouth gun control zealot.  It probably won’t change their mind but it’s fun to see their little brains implode when faced with logic, common sense and historical facts.

  • This would be moot point had the late 18th-century founders not replaced
the MUCH MORE potent Biblical RESPONSIBILITY to bear arms with the
optional Enlightenment RIGHT to do so. I wonder where those who lived
prior to the Second Amendment got their authority to bear arms in
defense of themselves, their families, and neighbors?

    “Let the
high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword [or today’s
equivalent] in their hand; to execute vengeance upon the heathen, and
punishments upon the people; to bind their kings with chains, and their
nobles with fetters of iron; to execute upon them the judgment written:
this honour have all his saints. Praise ye Yah!” (Psalm 149:6-9)

“Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take
it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his
garment, and buy one.” (Luke 22:36)

“But if any provide not for
his own, and specially for those of his own house [beginning with
spiritual and physical protection], he hath denied the faith, and is
worse than an infidel.” (1 Timothy 5:8)

I have been using the above quote by George Washington for over a year now as the signature block for my email. Great Words from a Great Man!
