Ukraine is Defenseless Against Russian Attack Due to ’05 $48 Million Grant Sen Obama Secured To Destroy Its Guns, Ammo

With much hype surrounding whether or not the U.S. should aid Ukraine against Russian attack this week, it’s imperative to note a fact going unnoticed by the media. As Russia continues to reassert itself in the Eastern Bloc with its Neo-Soviet territorial ambitions, one cannot help but shudder at the fact that Ukraine will be defenseless with or without aid from the U.S. (As much as I want Ukraine to defend itself, I don’t think it’s smart to give them aid at this time.) In fact, they shouldn’t trust this administration with providing them aid given one of Obama’s actions as senator that’s continually thrown under the rug. In August 2005, he and former U.S. senator Dick Lugar visited Ukraine and traveled to Donetsk, which is the hotly contested region Russia is so eager to seize from Ukraine. Then-Senator Barack Obama secured $48 million in federal funding to help...

Court Rules Residency Requirement Unconstitutional for Handgun Purchases

I don’t know of one tangible item that is restricted to purchase based on where one lives if that item is legal in both places. Yet for handguns, for the longest time a person has been limited to what is available within their home state.  I don’t know about you but I have purchased cars and motorcycles in different states because I like the bigger selection and the lower prices. Of course, gun hating Nazi’s like Eric Holder have long since been against any type of freedom when it comes to the Second Amendment. From the Washington Times report: In the case, federally licensed firearms dealer Frederic Russell Mance Jr. of Texas and gun buyers Tracey and Andrew Hanson sued Mr. Holder and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Director B. Todd Jones claiming the federal ban on the sale of handguns outside of one’s state stops...

Sensible Lawmaker Moves To Protect Gun Owners From Witch Trial Justice

During a dark time in this lands history (1692-1693) all someone had to do in order to get someone else burned at the stake, drowned or crushed to death was point at them and yell “WITCH!!” It’s shameful that after more than 3 centuries California lawmakers have brought back the practice of being judged guilty without due process. I’m speaking of AB 1040 which passed the state legislature last year which allows someone to point at a gun owner and yell DANGER and that gun owner will have their property stolen by the state. Evidence?  Proof?  No no no…we have someone hysterically yelling and pointing a finger; so in California we don’t need pesky little nuisances like due process and presumption of innocence getting in the way. As it stands now, any gun hating radical or gun control zealot can go to a cop and declare that a gun...

PA Town Posts “NOT A Gun Free Zone” Signs at Town Limits

I love Pennsylvania. One of the many reasons I do is because of places like Conoy Township and the smart, reason minded people who live there. As you enter into the small township at the westernmost area of Lancaster County you are greeted with a “Welcome to Conoy Twp” sign.  These signs are ubiquitous to nearly every population center you come across so I’ve no doubt that you’ve seen them before. What you may not have seen is what comes AFTER the first like. No THAT is a sign. Unlike those criminal empowerment zone signs that radical organizations like Moms Demand Action and Everytown for gun safety that want to ensure that criminals have free reign to rape murder to their hearts content, the good people of Conoy want to set the record straight. If you are a criminal it is best to keep moving on because the people of...

A Tale of Two Pizza Delivery Girls: One had a gun, the other was raped

For those of you who may have forgotten I recently covered a story concerning a female pizza delivery driver from Papa John’s who fought off two would be thieves/rapists by SHOOTING one of them in the face. Papa John’s responded by retracting their official stance of firing this woman but rather giving her a store job. (The above model is a representation of pizza delivery girls and not either of the women in this article) Note: Papa John’s still has a rule disarming their drivers and leaving them to the “mercy” of predators. Dominio’s Pizza ALSO has a corporate policy against their delivery personnel from carrying firearms for their own protection. Regrettably for one female driver in Antioch, CA who chose to follow Domino’s rules, she found herself kidnapped and raped for two hours. Let me just state, this wasn’t some middle of the night ambush using the cover...

Racist Bloomberg and Crony Come Out and Say Guns Are Only For Whites

In a couple of the more incredibly honest moments from gun controllers, Former Mayor of NYC Michael Bloomberg and his ally, former Allentown city council member Michael Donovan have stated rather succinctly their views on race and gun control. At the Aspen Institute last week Michael Bloomberg was asked about education and spun the question directly into promoting gun control. Bloomberg claimed that 95 percent of murders fall into a specific category: male, minority and between the ages of 15 and 25. Cities need to get guns out of this group’s hands and keep them alive. So…even if you are of legal age, area  law abiding citizen but live in a city and happen to be black or hispanic or something that Bloomberg views as a minority, he thinks the government should deny you your 2nd Amendment rights.  A right that might actually SAVE your life against some criminal with...

Wyoming Moves To Ban Criminal Empowerment Areas aka “Gun Free Zones”

Between states like Indiana and New Hampshire pushing for Constitutional Carry and court victories in places like California that are making May-Issue states an endangered species, so far this is a good year for the 2nd Amendment and common sense. Common sense is poised for another big win as in Wyoming, a sensible thinking state rep by the name of Allen Jaggi introduced House Bill 114.  A bill which passed the Wyoming House of Representatives without any watering down amendments by an overwhelming vote of 42-17. What does HB 114 do?  It outlaws the state of Wyoming from enforcing the fatal fallacy of Gun Free Zones.  From the bill itself:  (a) This section shall be known and may be cited as the “Wyoming Repeal Gun Free Zones Act.” (b) Persons holding a valid concealed carry permit 2 issued by the state of Wyoming under W.S. 6-8-104(a)(ii)  may carry a concealed...

New Hampshire Seeks To Empower Citizens By Equal Firepower Measures

I am appreciating New Hampshire more and more as of late.  The Live Free Or Die state is really living up to its motto.  As you may have read about last week, NH is on the verge of becoming likes its neighbor Vermont and doing away with its firearm carrying licensing system to become a Constitutional Carry state. On the heels of that legislation is another bill, brought forth by State Representative J.H Hoell, that would bar the police from becoming a paramilitary force without consent of the people. The proposed legislation is now in committee. If it’s passed and signed into law by the governor, state and municipal agencies in New Hampshire will be barred from buying or even accepting free offers of “military style equipment” for police use, except with the approval of the assembled citizenry at a public town meeting. That prohibition would include not just MRAPS...

Empowered by the SAFE ACT, New York Gestapo At It Again

Once again, New York’s version of the Gestapo, drunk on their own power, has unconstitutionally seized the property of a law abiding citizen while filing no charges. Marc Weinstein is getting a modern day glimpse of what life was like in 1930’s Germany.  On February 25th 2014, the retired firefighter  got into an argument with his adult son.  Though tempers settled quickly, the police were contacted and arrived to a quiet and peaceful home. For some reason, though no one claimed a weapon was brandished, the police who responded to the call asked to not only see Weinstein’s weapons permit (show me your papers) but also demanded that he give them all of his REGISTERED firearms and ammunition. Once again proving that registration is just a con that gun control fanatics like Andrew Cuomo use in order to be able to seize firearms from law abiding citizens. Weinstein rightly refused to...

Challenger “Touches the Face of God” January 28th 1986

I was just a kid in 1986 and space travel and astronauts was very exciting. I remember watching the Challenger exploding and my young eyes not really believing what I was seeing. Then the leader of our nation got on television and put into words what a young heart couldn’t speak at the time.  Just 650 words, delivered in under 5 minutes comforted me and a grieving nation.  I consider myself lucky that the first President that I knew was Ronald Reagan…it is a pity that those who have followed him have been found wanting. The following article is from Savingourfuture.com and goes into greater detail about the Challenger crash and the man who soothed a nations grief. Twenty-nine years ago today, January 28, 1986, the NASA Space Shuttle orbiter Challenger exploded and broke apart 73 seconds into its flight, leading to the deaths of its seven crew members...

Live Free Or Die: New Hampshire On Verge Of Enacting Constitutional Carry

The Granite state is poised to crack under the pressure of inalienable rights as legislation has been introduced to make New Hampshire the seventh Constitutional Carry state in the nation. The legislation I refer to is Senate Bill 116 that was recently introduced by Republican Senators Jeb Bradley and David Boutin. The bill is rather direct and concise in its objective and intent. This bill: I. Increases the length of time for which a license to carry a pistol or revolver is valid. II. Allows a person to carry a loaded, concealed pistol or revolver without a license unless such person is otherwise prohibited by New Hampshire statute. III. Requires the director of the division of state police to negotiate and enter into agreements with other jurisdictions to recognize in those jurisdictions the validity of the license to carry issued in this state. IV. Repeals the requirement to obtain...

Gun Owners Take Over Gun Buyback- Gun Controllers Look On Helplessly

As readers of Bullets First know, I have been an outspoken critic of gun buyback programs.  The reasons for my disdain for the program is wide ranging.  From the idea that it does ANYTHING to stop gun crime to the fact that some nefarious police officers use it as a way to dupe ignorant people into parting with extremely valuable firearms for a $50 food gift card of a pittance. Though I must say, for a gun owner looking to expand their collection, a gun buyback event is a great place to find some deals. Imagine my delight when I found out that a group of gun owners took that advice and overtook a gun buyback in Oregon. On Jan. 17 a buyback event was held by radical anti gun control group Central Coast Ceasefire Oregon and the Newport Police Department.  The payoffs being offered were gift cards to superstore Fred...

SHOT Show Proves More Women Are Flocking to the Gun Industry

Gabriella Hoffman is a guest contributor to Bulletsfirst.net, renowned public speaker and the creator and editor of her own successful site: All-American Girl for the Restoration of Values Gabby was in Las Vegas covering the 37th Annual SHOT Show hosted by the National Shooting Sports Foundation. —————————- NSSF President and CEO Steve Sanetti unveiled a new study this morning at a press conference on the rise of female gun owners. The study is entitled “Women Gun Owners: Purchasing, Perceptions and Participation.” Over half of the women polled in this new study-approximately 55.6%-intend to buy a firearm in the next 12 months.  42% of those polled have a concealed carry permit in their respective state of residence. Additionally, 73% of those polled have taken at least one formal firearms safety course. When asked what drives them to purchase guns, women cited these reasons: fit, quality, and practicality. Moreover, women who were polled said...

New Documentary Exposes Dangers of Gun-Free Zones

Gabriella Hoffman is a guest contributor to Bulletsfirst.net, renowned public speaker and the creator and editor of her own successful site: All-American Girl for the Restoration of Values Las Vegas, Nevada — The National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF)’s 37th annual SHOT Show conference is underway here in Las Vegas, Nevada. Over 60,000 people are estimated to be in attendance. People from all sectors of the gun industry are here. One of NSSF’s goals is to educate the populace about the Second Amendment. Due to constant misinformation, the gun industry is unfairly targeted. One common misconception anti-gunners spread is gun-free zones stop crime. Quite the contrary. As a result,  a new documentary from Outdoor Channel is seeking to expose how dangerous gun-free zones are. Yesterday, I attended an exclusive screening of “Safe Haven: Gun-Free Zones in America” at SHOT Show. Townhall.com News Editor and Fox News Contributor Katie Pavlich teamed up with...

Phoenix Patriot Foundation – Everything the Wounded Warrior Project Isn’t

As you may have recall I wrote an article at the end of last year exposing the Wounded Warrior Project for the minuscule amount of donations that actually go to programs meant to help veterans.  I also highlighted a number of veterans who felt like props and fundraising tools rather than actually getting help. Plus there’s the fact that the Wounded Warrior Project is against the 2nd Amendment. You can read all about it here: Stop Donating to the Wounded Warrior Project – They’re a Fraud Among the hundreds of comments from other veterans who agreed with the article and shared their own stories of being pawns in the WWP’s end game of making money, a number of people asked “what is an alternative organization I can give to in order to help vets?” A reader emailed me directly and told me to look into the Phoenix Patriot Foundation.  ...

The A-10 Warthog Faces Scrapyard Despite Successes in War Against Terror

For those of you who don’t know what the A-10 is, it is the only United States Air Force production aircraft designed solely for close air support, including attacking tanks, armored vehicles, and other ground targets.  In short the A-10 Thunderbolt is a an up close and personal angel from above that has bailed a lot of troops out of hairy situations over the years. The A-10’s reputation for toughness and getting down and dirty with the enemy has acquired it the moniker the “A-10 Warthog” which it is almost universally referred to as. While F-16’s, F-15’s and the new F-22 Raptor are the Porsche’s, Ferrari’s and Lamborghini’s of the sky, the A-10 is a bad ass, hardcore, suped up dump truck made for the zombie apocalypse. Let me explain the previous sentence.  The planes I mentioned were built as the premiere flying machines that could be used for war.  The...

Response To Michael Moore’s Mouth Drooling Idiocy (Video)

Michael Moore really doesn’t matter.  He’s a slovenly obese, anti gun, America hating, soldier bashing piece of filth whose been irrelevant for years. The fact that I have to spend any time discussing him turns my stomach. But I’m not about to give him a pass on bad mouthing snipers the entire US Military with his asinine comments that he is trying like hell to back away from. In case you missed it, Moore, after seeing that American Sniper was going to pretty much put to shame any movie that Moore ever “created” in terms of people actually going to see it and that it was based on a true story rather than the set ups that Moore’s “documentaries” take decided to lash out. Take a careful look at what he said.  Seems most people are focusing on him calling the brave soldier and marines, who go alone (or...

Police Can Now See Through Walls…Without Getting A Warrant

Technology is a wonderful thing.  It has made us able to disseminate information around the world in milliseconds, it allows travel in hours what used to take months, it extends our life expectancy and it heals wounds that would have been fatal before. So yes.  Technology is a wonderful thing…BUT there IS a trade off. That trade off comes with the loss of privacy and the erosion of rights. For each and every bit of ourselves that we submit to the digital age we lose an equal measure of privacy.  Over the years it has become such a common practice that we don’t even realize we are doing it anymore.  That leaves us conditioned to let things continue to slide and for the government to erode our rights. Gun Rights are no exception.  Every time we submit to a background check, ask the government for a concealed carry permit, have...
