Gov Christie Won’t Get Off His FAT ASS to Protect Single Mother

Gov. Chris Christie is once again showing what kind of man he is.  Instead of being a man of principles and action he has revealed himself to once again being a loudmouth New Jersey RINO blowhard.

Single mother and Philidelphia resident Shaneen Allen was pulled over last year during a traffic stop after she accidentally crossed a bridge and left her home state of  Pennsylvania and entered New Jersey.  She had a Pennsylvania concealed carry permit and showed it to the officer when he approached her vehicle.  But the permit isn’t valid in New Jersey, which has some of the strictest gun laws in the nation and as such she was arrested on the spot.

“As I let them know that (that she had a firearm), that’s when they started to lock me up.  I wasn’t a threat to the police.” -Shaneen Allen

Being honest with the police about her honest mistake may very well end up with Ms. Allen facing 42 months mandatory jail time and the loss of her children.

You see, instead of allowing Ms. Allen to enter the diversion program for first-time offenders that would avoid a felony conviction and mandatory 42 months in prison, New Jersey District Attorney Jim McClain has refused to allow her to take advantage of that program.

After being denied the program Ms. Allen was further railroaded when New Jersey Judge Michael Donio denied Allen’s request to have the charge dismissed.

Allen, 27, cried for a moment in the hallway with her son Naiare and his father after a judge denied her motion to dismiss weapons charges filed against her in October and refused to overturn a prosecutor’s decision to deny her entry into a first-time-offender diversion program.

So Allen walked back into court, turned down a plea deal that would have given her a 3 1/2-year sentence and decided to go to trial in October, hoping a jury would use some common sense and not send a working mother of two to prison for not knowing New Jersey’s gun laws.

So what is one to do when the system has decided to target you as a sacrificial offering to their gun control loving overlords and puppet-masters? Well, since this is America…and New Jersey is at least geographically part of it, you hope for the checks and balances that our government is based on to help you out.

Namely, you turn your eyes to the Governor to do what is right and help you.

Unfortunately for Ms. Allen, the cowardly tiger of Trenton has decided to “let the judicial process play out” before even CONSIDERING intervening.

Let me elaborate what Mr. Christie’s failure to act will cost Ms. Allen.

First of all she will have this entire ordeal hanging over her head for MONTHS.

If she gets railroaded all the way to a bogus conviction, Christie still hasn’t pledged to pardon her.

If he doesn’t pardon her upon her conviction and simply commutes her sentence she will still be denied her 2nd Amendment rights back in Pennsylvania as a convicted felon.  Yet she got the gun in the first place to protect herself and her sons after they were robbed TWICE.  Thus the bad guys will have another disarmed target to prey upon.

Trials aren’t cheap and the fact Ms. Allen has to go through on could very well bankrupt her.

So yeah…Chris Christie is going to let this women flap in the wind, have her life and family turned upside down, bankrupt her and strip her of her god given rights for what?  Politics?

Shame on you Gov. Christie.

At least you finally reveal to the rest of the country that you are a fraud, a fake, a fink and a phony and with any luck this will finally silence that notion of you becoming president once and for all.  For you see, most of America actually BELIEVES in the Constitution.  Our current president may not and he snuck in thanks to a complicit media but you are exposed for the political organism that you are.  Stay in Trenton…you seem to fit in New Jersey.

To my fellow Pennsylvanian Ms. Allen, best of luck as you play your hand with a deck stacked against you.

It is New Jersey after all.

Update: Through no help from Gov. Chris Christie but rather the outrage by the American Public, Shaneen Allen has been allowed to take the first time offender program.
