Top Ten Gun Control Zealots Of 2014

As we look back on the year that was, 2nd Amendment supporters can see some good, some bad and some ugly.  The good being the movements expanding carry laws, the pick up of constitutional carry states, the defeat of Federal legislation to limit our rights.

Then we have the bad.  The passage of Washington State’s I-594, the continued existence of NY’s Safe Act, the failure to remove Hickenlooper from the Governorship of Colorado.

Of course we have the ugly.  Ghouls like Michael Bloomberg, Moms Demand Action and Everytown for Gun Safety; with their hate speech, calls for violence against gun owners and over the top vitriol these individuals are truly ugly on the inside.

With the year in review, who were the worst of the worst villains who sought to deny the rights of free people and were willing to shred the Bill of Rights in order to trample on the liberty that this country was founded on?

Thanks to the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms who came up with a list of the top 10 anti-gunners for 2014, we at least have a starting point for the contenders.

Michael Bloomberg– Spent $50 million to create Everytown for Gun Safety, the anti-gun lobbying organization. He helped finance the Initiative 594 gun control campaign in Washington State and he is supporting a similar effort in Nevada.

Paul Allen– The billionaire co-founder of Microsoft and principle owner of the Seattle Seahawks and Portland Trailblazers, he dumped a half-million dollars into the I-594 gun control campaign inWashington State.

Steve Ballmer– Another member of the Microsoft alumni and owner of the L.A. Clippers who added more than$1 millionto the I-594 effort to criminalize perfectly legal activities in theEvergreen State.

Hillary Clinton– The former First Lady and Secretary of State suggested earlier this year that gun owners “terrorize” people by vigorously defending the Second Amendment. She also supported the unratified UN Arms Trade Treaty.

Andrew Cuomo– TheNew York governor who championed that state’s Draconian SAFE (for Secure Ammunition and Firearms Enforcement) Act, which is responsible for job losses in addition to penalizing every gun owner in the state.

Rahm Emanuel– The vehemently anti-gun mayor ofChicago whose administration has stubbornly resisted adoption of rational gun policies that would allow citizens to defend themselves against out-of-control violence in the Windy City.

Bill Gates– This billionaire Microsoft co-founder and his wife contributed more than$1 millionto the I-594 gun control effort, thus helping to pay for one of the most insidious political campaigns inthe United States.

Nick Hanauer– Another elitistSeattle-area billionaire who launched the I-594 gun control campaign and poured more than$1 millioninto the effort. His deplorable effort to exploit the Pilchuck High School tragedy by sarcastically suggesting that, “We need more school shootings” was an offensive new low in anti-gun politics.

Eric Holder– The outgoing U.S. attorney general fought to stall release of thousands of documents related to the Operation Fast and Furious scandal, final losing his battle in federal court this past fall.

Shannon Watts– As founder of the Bloomberg-supported Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, Watts has spread disinformation about gun crime and campaigned against laws that bolster personal protection outside the home.

There’s a lot of evil on that list though it is not a complete look at all the people who would see this country burn just to have their tyrannical way.

If you have any (dis)honorable mentions feel free to leave them in the comment section.

With all that being said, let us have a better 2015.  Have a Happy New Year everyone, stay safe and keep your powder dry.

  • Even most infidels know better. All of these and everyone else opposed to firearms are worse than infidels:

“But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house [beginning with spiritual and physical protection], he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (1 Timothy 5:8)

well when you have your own armed body guards what do you expect. most likely each and every one of them are also armed. but they aren’t going to tell any body. and they may own quite a few. besides the one they carry.

  • Dick

You forgot the entire Main Stream Media and especially Obama.

    • durabo

Obama and his Tovarisch, George Soros, to complete the Dirty Dozen.

      • Bullets First

I just assumed those were constants, the sun shall rise in the east, water is wet, Obama’s a gun grabbing scumbag etc.

        • durabo

Off course! How stupid of me: the “forest for the trees” exclusion!

  • ralphwylie

Baracko Bomba, where art thou on thee wicked list?

    • Bullets First

While he is an honorary member for life on such lists, the past year was more about him sending his henchmen out to do his dirty work, Eric Holder, Rahm Emanuel, the Billionaires etc.

  • Sparafucile

Steve Ballmer is not “another Microsoft alumni”. He is “another Microsoft alumnus“.

    • Mike Lawson

      He’s still a puke.

    • Bullets First

Depends on how you look at it. If I said: “Steve Ballmer microsoft alumnus and….” you’d be right. But since I predicated it with “Steve Ballmer ANOTHER microsoft alumni and…” I intended the implication to be that Ballmer is one of many, requires the masculine plural form, especially since it tied in to Paul Allen being listed immediately prior.

I suppose the singular form could still have been used but the plural form is correct in its use here.

      • Sparafucile

Incorrect. Given your context and syntax, “alumnus” is the only correct option.

  • Bob

Do what I say not what I do.

  • Gregory Alan of Johnson

John Morse of Colorado Springs, State Senate District 11 ringer (residence was a motel with daily/weekly/monthly rates), now “resides” in Denver after being recalled (the damage is still done).

    • Bullets First

I never cared for carpet baggers. But at least purchase a home or get an apartment in the area you are (or want to) represent.

  • All law-abiding citizens should ignore these unconstitutional laws re. firearms. CT did. There are thousands of felons including one-half the police who didn’t follow the latest law on registration. What did the state police, local police or government(s) do? Nothing. The state police talked big but did nothing as they first would have to arrest 1/2 of their force, destroying themselves as a law enforcement unit. lmao.

I’d just like to give a hat tip to the Sheriff’s of both New York State and Colorado who stood up and denounced the 2nd Amendment infringements shoved through by their Governors and refused to enforce them on constitutional grounds.

  • I seriously had to laugh when our “staunch supporter” of the 2nd amendment Lindsey Graham
accepted a $250K donation from Bloomberg in 2014. C’mon SC, we can do better.
