Armed Citizen Stops Mass Shooting in the Big Easy

On January 31st a group of 10 friends riding their ATV’s in the back country of New Orleans went to a gas station to fill them up.

That is when Richard Macklin pulled up in a white Volvo and became incensed that he had to wait behind all these people to fill up and pay.  Macklin had a psychotic break and decided the best way to deal with his frustration is to get out of his car and start shooting.

He fired 12 rounds into the group of friends, wounded three.  One of those struck though, happened to be a law abiding gun owner.

That unnamed gun owner, instead of being a victim of a mass murderer pulled out his firearm, which he had a concealed carry permit for and shot Macklin in the head.

First of all, good shot.

Secondly, I thought liberal gun control zealots say this NEVER happens?

Oh well.

The surprising fact is that Macklin made it to the hospital and it looks like he’s going to survive.  When he gets released his is expected to be booked on three counts of aggravated battery by shooting and one count of illegal discharge of a weapon, police said

Not for not, but seems a little light in the charges.  No attempted murder for a mass shooting?

Oh well.  The three victims that Mackland shot were brought to the hospital and all are expected to make a full recovery.

Fortunately the unnamed hero was there to stop Mackland’s mass shooting before it became a mass murder…not like the gun controllers or mainstream liberal media will ever mention it.

“Not for not, but seems a little light in the charges. No attempted murder for a mass shooting?”

That, and how about a medal for the unnamed, lawabiding gun owner.
Or am I asking too much.
(Still wondering how Macklin survived a shot to the head. Oh well, at least it didn’t damage anything important, like a brain.)
