Once again the progressive left and militant anti gun cabal have pushed forward their reckless and dangerous agenda and innocent children have died as a result of Bloomberg, Watts, Soros et al petty politics and mouth drooling fanaticism.
So called “Gun Free Zones” are anything but, yet the cronies of the gun control crowd cling to this farce like it is a magic bubble that will protect people who have otherwise been stripped of their rights to protect themselves. So called Gun Free Zones are Criminal Empowerment Zones where a person of ill intent knows he or she can go and kill people at will without having to face any immediate consequence or interruption. So called gun free zones are the quintessential soft targets that criminals go to in order to ensure they highest population of helpless, defenseless and disarmed targets that they can get.
Mass shootings in so called gun free zones can be laid at the feet of Michael Bloomberg, Shannon Watts, George Soros and all their organizations and sycophants who buy into their lunacy yet somehow fail to realize that their “leaders” are surrounded by gun toting security around the clock. Of course, with two faced politicians like Pocahontas Warren falsely claiming she’s a Native American while also criticizing others for cultural appropriation and insensitivity, you can see that hypocrisy is not a vice that the Left shies away from.
But I digress. I actually was given a newspaper clipping today that I would like to share that puts guns and mass shootings into perspective. It is surprising that this clipping that was given to me originated in upstate New York, penned by James Homan of Glenville New York as a letter to the editor. The humor and common sense of this letter play off each other so well that anyone who hasn’t drank themselves into a stupor from the kool aid the gun control zealots are pouring, will have their eyes opened to this good old horse sense.
Guns don’t up and kill by themselves
It’s time the people of this country learn to separate fact from fiction on all the issues we are bombarded with daily. The following is a fictional story: I swung my front door wide open and placed my Remington 30.06 on the deck rail. I let six cartridges beside it, then left it alone and went about my business. While I was gone, the mailman delivered my mail, my neighbor across the street mowed the yard, a girl walked her dog down the street and quite a few cars stopped at the stop sign near the front of my house.
After a while, I checked on the gun. It was still sitting there where I left it. It hadn’t moved itself off the deck rail and it hadn’t killed anyone, even with the numerous opportunities it had. It hadn’t even loaded itself. Imagine my surprise, given all the hype by the left and the media about how dangerous guns are and how they kill people. Either the media is wrong or I’m in possession of the laziest gun in the world.
The following information is completely factual: The United States ranks third in murders throughout the world. But if you take out just four cities – Chicago, Detroit, Washington DC and New Orleans – the United States drop to fourth from the bottom of the list in the entire world for murders.
These four cities also have among the toughest gun control laws in the country and all four of these cities are controlled by Democrats. It would be absurd to draw any conclusions from this data, correct? Some people might think so. I don’t.
Let’s put the blame where it belongs – on the criminals, not inanimate objects. Most gun-owning Americans are completely law-abiding citizens and have every right to own guns for whatever legal purpose they want.
What they don’t have is the money to hire personal armed guards like George Soros and Hillary Clinton.
And yet, when tragedy struck again in a school in Florida, it is the gun that those on the left wish to attack. Not the crazed gun man who everyone said was going to be dangerous but no one wanted to do anything about because they didn’t want to offend anyone.
Guns don’t kill people, just like trucks don’t kill people even when a Muslim radical drove one into a crowd in Nice, France in 2016 killing 86 people and injuring 458. Only the completely clueless were calling for truck bans. Yet you couldn’t throw a stone today and not hit some mouth drooling gun control zealot on tv whose answer was not to do away with the illusion and feelz of so called “Gun Free Zones” but rather to pass more gun control, pointing to said gun controls own abject failure as reason to have MORE of it.
They say that liberalism is a mental disorder. Gun controllers are in their own district of crazy town. Stay clear of any kool aid they offer too. A gun will never jump up and murder you, despite what these fear mongering loons would try to have you believe.
