Back on the homefront, we sometimes forget that there are people, like a sniper, overseas fighting to defend our way of life. They do it 24/7 365. They miss out on Christmas, on birthdays and the like. They miss the parties and the moments and all those little moments of joy that those who are far from war take for granted.
I just wanted to take a moment to acknowledge a soldier who has been doing good work in the Middle East fighting back the hate filled jihad of ISIS.
For his safety, this soldier is not being identified but that doesn’t mean his story shouldn’t be told.
He is a sniper with Britain’s Special Air Service (SAS), the UK’s equivalent to the US Delta Force.
This sniper is a veteran in both the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan but has been planting ISIS fighters by the dozens in recent months.
So prolific is he in arranging meetings between these Islamic radicals and Allah that he has just checked off confirmed kill number 100 of ISIS militants in the city of Mosul. This feat making him one of the most successful snipers in the British armed forces.
His latest kill is said to be a “high valued target” in the terror group, which has put up fierce resistance as the US-backed coalition attempts to recapture Iraq’s second city from the extremists.
This “high valued target” was so valued because ironically he was a worthless piece of filth. More than 100 men women and children were tortured and murdered by this ISIS commander in the building were he too would poetically meet his death. That building being a compound once owned by Saddam Hussein.
Our unnamed sniper took a position approximately 1 kilometer from the entrance of the compound and waited. Stalking his prey and timing his movements. After a week of waiting the ISIS commander tried to escape and it took all of one bullet to punch through his body armor and kill him dead. The sniper used the Barret Light 50 sniper rifle that uses a .50 caliber bullet that sends both death and a message down range every time it is fired.
Here’s a picture of it in action:
The reason I chose this picture is because I would like to direct your attention to the Marine’s neck where a spent casing is flying past his face. That’s the payload of gun powder that shoots the bullet down to destroy whatever it is being aimed at. Just wanted that to sink in before you read what a source on the ground had to say about what happened to the target.
According to sources:
‘The sniper had a two second window to shoot the IS commander.
‘He took the shot and the bullet almost cut the terrorist in half.
‘He was dead before he hit the floor.’
Defense sources claim the century of kills place the decorated soldier at the top of the elite regiment’s list of sharpshooters.
As I said, too often, especially around the hustle and bustle of the Christmas season we forget that while we shop for toys and decorate our homes there are men and women who don’t get that this year. They shop for targets and decorate Iraq with the entrails of Radical Islamic ISIS scumbags.
So a tip of the cap to the unnamed sniper who keeps planting ISIS militants in the ground. Keep up the good work, you are greatly appreciated.
