Backwards Bullet…what happens when you load a bullet backwards in a casing? [Video]

I have to admit, I never thought of this, but if you load your ammunition and choose to load the bullet in reverse it has some surprising results. The theory is that by putting the concave portion of the bullet at the top, the shooter will have effectively created a projectile that will work as a hollow point round. In the following video from the Ammo Channel, the host puts this theory to the test using .308 Winchester rounds that he loaded himself. He uses both the traditional loading and the reverse loading then shoots into both ballistic jelly as well as steel plate. I found the results to be rather interesting but not unsurprising. In a story that mashes together the reserved nature of Mormon dominated Utah, with the sexualized fits of fancy you would expect from a pin up calendar, a bit of situation has arisen in the Beehinve State. The calendar maker, Hot Shots, filmed a promotional video of their models during the photoshoot that took place both in the desert flats as well has the mountain peaks of Utah.  The film and subsequent calendar utilized equipment from the Utah National Guard, both vehicles and weaponry. Since 1935, a law has been on the books in North Carolina requiring law abiding citizens of Durham County to register their firearms.  It took nearly 80 years, but the General Assembly finally figured out that registration of the law abiding does nothing but set the groundwork for confiscation by a tyrannical government. Armed with the epiphany that gun registration doesn’t stop criminals the General Assembly, earlier this year, unanimously repealed the 1935 law with Senate Bill 226 / S.L. 2014-11.  The repeal was ratified on June 19th. This time in Milwaukee, the money juggernaut that is Michael Bloomberg failed to buy a primary election for his anti gun candidate for Sheriff.   In the Democratic primary for Sheriff of Milwaukee county pro gun incumbent Sheriff David Clarke had to fight off not only his challenger but also Bloomberg with a carpet bag full of $150,000. That was the amount that Bloomberg spent to try and defeat Sheriff Clarke.  That amount is also more than Clarke and his opponent Chris Moews spent combined on their own campaigns. The title of this article is steeped with sarcasm.  But it is used to illustrate the absurdity that gun controllers like to levy upon guns by applying it elsewhere.  In case you haven’t heard, this past Saturday night in Canandaigua, NY, professional racecar driver, Tony Stewart, ran over and killed a fellow driver who got out of his vehicle and tried to confront Stewart while the race was still on. It’s a funny thing when you think about it, but I have had to use my personal firearm more times to protect myself than I had my motorcycle helmet with a score of 1 to nothing. Well, that changed today.  While taking an early morning ride a car in front of me stopped short and I applied my brakes a bit too heavily and hit some broken pavement and went sliding across the street.  Was I badly injured?  No.  Though the road rash on my arm and leg are not pretty to look at.
