Is this treason?

At what point in the course of human events when it becomes necessary to dissolve the political bands and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, do we leave the notion of treason behind and embrace the liberty of revolution?

Last week a man, Cliven Bundy made a stand.  He would not let the federal government illegally seize his property in a bid to have his livelihood and thereby his land stripped from him.

In 1776 Thomas Jefferson wrote a little something that the preamble of this article artfully interspersed within itself, it was called the Declaration of Independence.  Now, most of us know WHAT this is…but do you know what is SAYS?  Not the catch phrases and buzzwords like “all men created equal” and “life liberty and the pursuit of happiness” but what the actual charges against the King were?

The following is taken DIRECTLY from the Declaration of Independence.  Prepare to be shocked at how applicable it is today:

He has obstructed the Administration of Justice, by refusing his Assent to Laws for establishing Judiciary powers. (where are the independent investigations into Fast and Furious, Benghazi, Obamacare etc)

He has made Judges dependent on his Will alone, for the tenure of their offices, and the amount and payment of their salaries. (if you are not an Obama contributor good luck getting a seat on the federal bench)

He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harrass (sic) our people, and eat out their substance. (that one just speaks for itself…how many czars does this country have now?)

He has kept among us, in times of peace, Standing Armies without the Consent of our legislatures. (the federal government buys BILLIONS of rounds of ammo, drones flying over American cities, feds training to fight US citizens on American soil)

He has combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws; giving his Assent to their Acts of pretended Legislation. (see: UN Arms Trade Treaty)

For imposing Taxes on us without our Consent (again…Obamacare et al)

For taking away our Charters, abolishing our most valuable Laws, and altering fundamentally the Forms of our Governments. (continued attacks on the 2nd Amendment, socialized medicine etc)

It’s as if someone today was writing this about President Obama.  Yet, what was good and just and noble back in 1776 is being decried as terrorism by loud mouth Nevada Senator Harry Reid.

After the showdown in Nevada with Clive Bundy and a ragtag band of Patriotic mitia forcing the tyrannical federal government to back down, Reid decries this action thusly:

“They’re nothing more than domestic terrorists.  I repeat: what happened there was domestic terrorism.”

In the eyes of Harry Reid, free men and women standing up against the tyranny of an overreaching government is equivalent to terrorism.  Reid goes on to discuss Cliven Bundy directly:

“Clive Bundy does not recognize the United States.  The United States, he says, is a foreign government. He doesn’t pay his taxes. He doesn’t pay his fees. And he doesn’t follow the law. He continues to thumb his nose at authority.”

Let’s look at that for a second.  The federal government IS NOT the United States.  Liberal socialists always make that mistake.  They claim that a strong government makes a strong nation.  That is a load of cow dung.  It is the strength of the individual that makes this nation great.  Patriots make up the United States.  It is the patriot who beats back tyranny, who creates wonder and beauty, who rises above himself and strives for something greater.

All a government can do is try to legislate away freedom, liberty and excellence.

Oh, and those fees and laws that Reid claims Bundy doesn’t follow?  He’s right…Bundy doesn’t because they were specifically being used to deprive Bundy of his property.

I don’t fault Bundy for not being driven from his land and forced to go bankrupt via a federal governments scheme to seize his property.

Let’s just universally agree that Harry Reid is an ass.

Because frankly, anyone who would think that Cliven Bundy and those who stood up with him against tyranny are anything other than reminiscent of Concord and Lexington must hate how this country was FOUNDED.

Harry Reid is the terrorist in this scenario.  He has vowed:

“Well, it’s not over. We can’t have an American people that violate the law and then just walk away from it. So it’s not over.” 

That sounds like a threat to me.  A malfunctioning drone type of threat…an Elian Gonzales midnight snatch type of threat…a “we’re the federal government and we will bleed you dry in endless court litigation” kind of threat…a no knock warrant with no just cause and killing your dog kind of threat.

Why would Reid care…it’s not HIS money used to persecute a patriot.

It’s OURS.  Ain’t that a kick in the crotch.

Did Bundy and his militia supporters engage in terrorism or treason?

Hell no.  From the moment of our founding we believed in this:

 And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.

It can’t be treason…for nothing is more American than that.

    reid & obarry are going to keep stripping away our freedoms until we retaliate. Get as many foolish gun owners to turn-in their “illegal” weapons as possible before engaging the rest of us in physical conflict. They are loading-up for the eventual conflict by securing millions of rounds of ammo, armored vehicles, etc. They know we won’t sit idly by while they remove our sacred rights, so they are going to be ready. God help us prevail when that day comes!

      Reid is a traitor to the people of Nevada who elected him and to the United States of America that he serves as majority leader of the Senate. He is doing it for personal gain. The way I understand it, Reid owns acreage close to the Bundy ranch. Reid’s son is a lobbyist for a Chinese company by the name of EDD. The Chinese govt. owns EDD and they want to install those giant electricity-generating windmills in that area. I understand that Beid’s land is worth about $250,000 but if EDD goes in and builds the windmills, the value of the land will go up to $1.5-$2 million. That is the way I understand the story. Reid was almost penniless when he was first elected to the Congress. Now he’s a multimillionaire. You figure.

    I looks like Harry Reid and Obama may have to learn First Hand (no hearsay, no textbooks) what happens when Tyrants push the American People too far … you know … like King George learned in 1776. Harry Reid had better remember …. Cowboys have Ropes … and a Bridge on I-15 will work as well as a Tree … to Hang a Tyrant or an Outlaw Senator.

    Several generations of indoctrination have produced an electorate which doesn’t understand the value of the individual, nor the importance of property rights. There is no liberty without property – sacrosanct from government confiscation. We allow our government the power to enforce the theft of our property – every April 15th. Most folks don’t realize how much of a theft is the time we lose, taking care of this paperwork burden. The tragic part of it is how so many people are convinced that these government “powers” are legitimate; that these “laws” and “rules” must be obeyed; that to flaunt them is truly criminal. I’m sorry, folks, but unconstitutional law isn’t true LAW, and MUST be disregarded. (If everybody did, it wouldn’t last).

    I’ve read the article and after a few minutes of reflection and pondering what was said in the article I have one question which I’ve got to ask. Where are the uniformed thugs coming from? I spent 25 years in law enforcement as a correction officer and retired last year. Most officers I know are staunch conservatives because we know first hand that liberal reform of the system does not work. This goes for a majority of law enforcement that I know and respect.
    Most of the officers whom I count as friends are hunters, outdoosmen, and gun collectors. We are Constitution a lists and question why is there a need for military type vehicles by police departments especially when you read stories about small departments needing ammunition for annual qualifications and are having just as much trouble getting that ammunition as everybody else.
    My question to those in charge would be where are they getting those people who fill those uniforms? Are they American citizens or are they UN jackboots imported to subdue the true Americans?

      Good question niteguy. And while I know plenty of good and honorable men and women in uniform there will always be the sycophant, the politicker, the brown noser who will violate the public trust for their own good either directly or to please those above them.

      Unfortunately, as the adage goes, it is those few bad apples that spoil the bunch and draw aspersions on all who serve.

      These so called “conservative” LEOs are nothing but government employees who follow orders. They enforce the dictates passed down from above without question. If they were men of honor they would resign. But keeping that new truck and bass boat is more important than their integrity.

        I take offence to your stance on LEO’s and as a former officer know that whenit comes to personal iintegrity most officers do not “blindly” follow what they feel are unconstitutional orders or make things up as they go along . How many run ins did you have with the law Mr. Mallory to cause you to have such a low opinion of us?

LEO I would have agreed with you at one time, However, reading the all to many articles on these site’s of current Police abuse and killings of unarmed folks that plague America today I truly fear the make up the profession today. And would trust none, without due caution.

      I agree Chris. The patriot act was one of the worst trades of liberty for supposed “security” that we ever had. That came under bush. If I had this site back then rest assured it would have been covered repeatedly.

      With that being said, Obama sure as hell is taking advantage of the situation.

    GReid is a treasonous lunatic that needs to be subdued and held accountable for his crimes. All these traitors need to be held accountable and punished according to the crimes committed…ALL OF THEM! Bet the next batch of “public servants” will think twice before committing crimes when they remember how they will be held accountable by We The People! And, attorneys are barred from holding any public office/position.

    This article specifies exactly why I no longer refer to “the Left”, :Progressives” or “Liberals”. After I really read “Common Sense”, “The Federalist Papers”, Biographies on Jefferson, Madison and Adams as well as the minutes of the Second Continental Congress as kept by Madison, I felt I had better read the documents they created. I started with the Constitution and have in the past 2 years now read it some 10 times. I then wondered what political and social conditions had given rise to such a document, specifically how many issues did the colonists take exception to. I then read the Declaration of Independance 3 times, The first time I simply scanned through to get a count on the number of complaints they had against the King. Ithen read it twice more for substance.

    After I read the Declaration of Independance, I have come to realize that today’s “Liberal” is pushing for implementation of policy which would take us back to the ante Revolutionary colonial life. In other words, today’s “Liberal/Progressive” is yesterday’s Tory/Loyalist. Therefore, in my lexicon/vocabulary I have begun to refer to them as Regressives for their desire to return our first rate country to a second rate, empirically controlled world colony.

    Since this would run contrary to the Constitution, all acts done to regress the nation would not only be unconstitutional but also treasonous.

    The items listed in the article should be sent to the House of Representatives as the beginning of a Bill of Particulars for the impeachment process of Obama and all his cohorts and compatriots in crime!

    So what if Harry REID JUST HAPPENS TO OWN THE LAND ADJACENT TO BUNDY, and would expect a whole lot of money for his property. How did it happen that Reid just happened to own land next to the property that Bundy owned? And it just seems that Reid is a bit vocal about getting a deal with the government on land adjacent to his. Seems like there is a bit of AN ODOR around this whole deal. SOMETHING STINKS.
